I just go back from winterguard a little while ago bout 7:30ish. We got to leave early this week but next week we have to stay till 8. So from 5 to 6:30 we worked on the normal basics and learned new basic stuff like pull hit doubles and windmills then a double.

Also I got to check in my mellophone FINALLY today. It took forever because we were supposed to check them last week but my buddies and my horns had black stuff on the slides so we had to take them home over the weekend. So I do that Sunday afternoon and everything is all good until my weird and freaky band director tells me that it doesn't have the sparkle and shine that it needs to have to sit in a case for the rest of the school year. Anyways I don't complain and take it home and polish it very nicely and then bring it back. It stayed in my cubby until this afternoon. The good thing though is that its turned in.

Today I got to see my ranking in my class; 69 out of 682 which isn't to bad I guess...top ten percent but I have to work harder now to keep it up and to advance.

So nothing happened down here today besides the fact that the high was 70. I still can't believe that it hasn't gotten really cold this year. But hey, it was a nice and cooler marching band season so its all good. I just wish that it would get colder and not be Christmas and have 70 degree weather.
