I haven't posted in like over a week because I've been staffing at Golden Acorn for Boy Scouts (GA). It was sooo much fun, in fact I think it was about the best thing I've ever done in scouts. It was the coolest because I got to boss around little candidates. LOL. Ya, it was quite a bit of work but it paid off. We started about November and it just ended yesterday. we had campouts and lots of meeting before the course and then last saturday started the real thing. We had to work work work but everyone was havin fun while workin. It started by getting everyone in their patrols and takin them on an orentation trail where they learned how to do things clean, set up camp, etc. We went through the week and they got to build ballistas (catapults) and go on a outpost hike along with all the presentations on how to learn to be a better leader in their troop. On Thursday was the best day because the boys wouldbe leaving for their outpost and we got to party all night long! :) So when they left we all had pizzas (one for every boy), watched family guy and The Rundown, then we all split off-people went to go gator hunting and my group decided to make a slip n slide. It was so fun because we had one going across the pavillion and all kinds of junk to it (i recommmend to never use sprinkles-they feel like pellets) and even slide under a picnic tanle in which we startesd puring coolers of cold water oneach other. We went to bed around 2 or so in the morinin. It was great. Then after everyone left on Friday we went out bowlin (the staff has to stay a day longer then everyone else) but the bowlin alley was filled with not so good looking kids ;). So mwe went to the DQ and had blizzards and junk and then went back and watched movies and played HALO (one of the coolest games ever). That was a REALLY quick overview of my week.
When I got home my toe was in a horrible condition and once my mom saw it she was like..I'm callin the doc's office. SO when we got into the doctors office they said my worst fear..I had to have it removed. My mom had kept sayin how bad it was with the 4 shots in the toe and everthing so I was like OMG this can't be happenin but it was. When the Doc came in he gave me like ten or more shots becauser four wasn't nearly enough to numb my toe up...after it was numbed I couldn't feel a thing when he was using scissors to cut it off. When I got home I got on the computer for like the first time in a week and then the pain came. I had taken a pain killer but all I could feel was the places where he had stuck the needle into into my toe. It hurt so bad that I was cryin...I hadn't cried at all in the docs office while getting the shots. Then the pain killer kicked in and I was o.k. for the rest of the night. I feel a lot better now that its off though.

Well I'm off to go and prop my foot off and talk on the phone.
